Product Description

Waterborne Styrene-Acrylic Emulsion for DTM Anti-Corrosion Coatings

WL-Z412 is a styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion for waterborne industrial paints, characterized by small particle size and moderate viscosity. It exhibits good compatibility with rust inhibitors and anticorrosive pigments, and the products formulated with it offer excellent water resistance, brine resistance, and salt spray resistance. It contains no heavy metals or halogens and is suitable for use as all-in-one primer-topcoat paints.

Introduction

In formulation design, based on its characteristics of small particle size and weak alkalinity, the following recommendations are made:

Coalescing agents: Given its MFFT of approximately 20°C, the dosage of coalescing agents (such as Texanol) should be appropriately adjusted during winter construction to ensure optimal film formation.
Anticorrosive pigments: Systems with good compatibility, such as zinc phosphate, are preferred to fully realize its anticorrosive potential.

Applications

Applicable for light- to medium-duty anticorrosive primers/all-in-one primer-topcoat paints, infrastructure and large steel structures, and multi-substrate general-purpose protection.

Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated indoor area, away from direct sunlight
The product must be transported and stored at temperatures ranging from 5°C to 35°C
The shelf life of the original package is 6 months from production date
Once the container is opened, it is recommended to use it within a short period of time
