Product Description

Waterborne Epoxy Ester Resin WL-172B

A red iron oxide primer and topcoat made of the water soluble epoxy ester resin WL-172B have high-performance, single-component, quick-dry, rust preventive formulated for use on ferrous metal substrates. It provides corrosion resistance for both interior and exterior steel surfaces. It is formulated to provide lasting rust and corrosion resistance on a variety of interior and exterior metal surfaces and may be top coated with water-based or alkyd/oil-based finishes. This primer offers excellent coverage, spreads evenly, resists sagging, is abrasion resistant, and provides unsurpassed durability.

 

Product Properties:

  • Self-emulsifying process, no emulsifier, excellent water resistance and corrosion resistance;
  • This product can be oxidized and cross-linked to form film, which can replace the traditional solvent based alkyd and epoxy ester resin;
  • Paint making process is similar to that of traditional solvent based paint, the resin can be grinded;
  • Good mechanical stability and storage stability.
