High-acid Value Solid Acrylic Resin for hot melt adhesive

SA-550 is a high performance 100% solid acrylic resin designed for use as a hot melt adhesive. this type of adhesive that exhibits good adhesion to a wide variety of materials including polyester, glass, aluminum, steel, fabric and paper. It provides a medium degree of cohesive strength with good resistance.

Other performance characteristics of this type of adhesive are resistance to high temperatures and atmospheric agents such as to be used in conditions of exposure to an external environment. These adhesives are also resistant to the passage of time and do not become slippery with increasing temperatures.

Characteristics and Advantages

is a thermoplastic solid acrylic resin with good weatherability, unique hardness, gloss and chemical resistance. It can be a base resin of hot melt adhesive.
is easily soluble in many organic solvents such as ketones, white spirit, esters, and aromatic hydrocarbons. It also has good compatibility with other film forming resins such as vinyl resins, some alkyds and other acrylic resins.
