Waterborne Epoxy Modified Acrylic Resin WL-138

Water-Based Acrylic Modified Epoxy Resin WL-138 is a water-based modified epoxy resin that appears as a water dispersion. This product has been diluted with de-ionized water and has protective, decorative performance, excellent adhesion and mechanical features. It is stable to high shear speed and can be directly used in grinding. It finds application in primer and self-priming top coatings for hardware and auto parts

3, Product Properties

Excellent shear stability, can be grinded with dispersions directly;

Fast drying speed, good hardness;

Excellent salt fog-spray resistance, early water resistance and aging resistance.

4, Instructions

WL-138can be diluted with deionized water to construction viscosity and be dried by oxidation cross-inking at normal temperature or low-temperature baking.PH value has to be carefully observed in coating production since precipitation may occur if acidic pigments like carbon blackare used in the system. PH value of the coating system can always be adjusted by triethylamine or N,N-dimthylethanolamine. Viscosity of the dispersion will increase as the pH value increases.

5, Storage:

Suggested storage temperature is 0-40℃. It is stable at neutral or slight alkaline conditions. It is unstable that it is diluted with acidic or impuritywater. Best be used within half of a year after it is produced. The expired products can still be used after passing the inspections.

6, Applications:

Air-drying or low temperature baking antirust coatings and top coatings.
