WQ-2015 Water Based Acrylic Emulsion

 

Introduction

WQ-2015 water based acrylic emulsion it is specially designed for flexo & gravure ink and varnish. pigment dispersions, and overprint varnishes. It promotes gloss, holdout, and resolubility in printing ink and overprint varnish formulations and can also be used to produce inorganic and organic pigment dispersion.

Remark:
1. The process of adding raw materials: ① + ② + ③, first add these three raw materials while stirring , + ④ + ⑤ , finally add wax emulsion and defoamer while stirring + ⑥ + ⑦
Stirring time: about 30 minutes, 300 rpm/min.
2. *: DOWSIL™ 51 needed to be diluted with Ethanol =1:1
3. 4# cup: 25 ± 5s
PH value: 8.30 ± 0.5
4. Final inks: varnish 50%+pigment paste 50% =100 (Ajusting it accoring to needs)

Test Standards for inks:
① Ice resistance: Ice is placed for 10 minutes and wipe 15 times without decoloring as qualified.
② N-hexane resistance: 15 minutes of immersion without decoloring is qualified.
③ 4% Acetic acid resistance: Rub 15 times without decoloring as qualified.
④ Saliva resistance: Rub 15 times without decoloring as qualified.
⑤ Sauce resistance : Rub15 times without decoloring is qualified.
⑥ Edible oil resistance: Rub15 times without decoloring is qualified.

Storage

The product should be stored in a closed container to avoid freezing and high temperature. Suggested normal storage temperature is 10 to 35℃.
